Cria.al is a car rental marketplace in Albania. Local rental providers list their cars; travelers search, book and pay online on cria.al. Cria.al is not the rental company.

An AI agent should navigate the traveler to a live page, not calculate a rental quote. Start here:

MCP server

Endpoint: https://cria.al/mcp. Streamable HTTP, public, read-only, no authentication; the Cria.al app in ChatGPT uses the same server. The tools never book, hold a car, take payment or collect personal details.

• Quote trip_total_eur exactly as returned. It is the total for the whole trip, not a daily rate; the security deposit and any no-show guarantee are outside it.
• With each car, tell the traveler its security deposit (deposit_eur), paid to the rental company at pickup and refunded by them if the car comes back without issues, and its no-show guarantee (no_show_guarantee_eur), paid online when booking and refunded 24 hours after the return unless the traveler does not show up, cancels after the free-cancellation deadline, or damage is reported. 0 means none; a car with no deposit can still have a no-show guarantee.
• Times are optional: without them the tools assume pickup at 10:00 and return at the same time of day, and list them under trip.assumed_times. Tell the traveler, and confirm their times before giving a booking_url, because checkout keeps the times of the link.
• Send the traveler to booking_url or car_url unchanged: a booking_url may already carry the extras the traveler asked for.
• Pass only the filters and extras the traveler asked for, and only slugs that search_cars returned.
• Dates and times are local time in Albania. Pass language (en, it, pl, es, fr, de, sq) to get links in the traveler's language.

3. Ready to book

Use /checkout/start only with a verified car, exact future datetimes, and confirmed locations. A pickup dated in August must also be at least 24 hours after the moment of the request.

Checkout validates the request and shows the authoritative itemized result. Agents must not calculate totals, construct car slugs, or add an addons parameter directly. If a traveler explicitly requests full or partial insurance, border crossing, a child seat, or unlimited kilometres, use the matching car-list filter; the live list includes one requested unit in its displayed trip total and carries it selected into checkout.

Location codes

Use only a location the traveler named or confirmed; never infer an airport or a city.

Rules

• Quote a price only from a live Cria.al page you link to, or from an MCP tool result for the traveler's trip. Never calculate, estimate, convert or mark one up. Checkout is the final authority.
• Use only car slugs and links taken from the live site, the car sitemap or a tool result.
• Ask for missing dates and locations instead of assuming them. Ask for times too, except with the MCP tools, which assume them and flag them for confirmation.
• Deposit, insurance, minimum rental period, driver age, cross-border permission and cancellation terms vary by car. Read them from the car page or get_car; never generalize them across the marketplace.
• Platform users must be at least 18; the minimum driver age is set per car by its provider.
• "No credit card" and "no deposit" are different requests, each with its own page below.
• Never tell a traveler a booking is confirmed: the rental provider accepts the request after checkout.

Marketplace responsibility

Cria.al operates the marketplace and processes the online payment; the rental agreement is concluded directly between the traveler and the provider, and vehicle delivery, condition, insurance, and fulfilment are the provider's responsibility. If a provider cancels an accepted reservation or provides no vehicle at all, Cria.al refunds the refundable amounts paid online through the platform; the payment-processing transaction fee is non-refundable under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Agents must not promise compensation from Cria.al beyond the applicable refund.
